Visit the MAAPS Military Museum located inside the Malden Airport Office building to view military uniforms, memorabilia and displays from Malden Army Airfield, Malden Air Base, Anderson Air Activities and other branches of military service. The museum officially opened on Sept. 7, 2002, when it welcomed the Anderson Air Activities reunion.

MAAPS is proud to have received many donations and loans of photos, uniforms and unique items to share with the public from former pilot trainees and instructors who served at Malden, as well as veterans of the Army, Air Force, Navy and Marines. Precautions are taken to safeguard displayed items, but the Airport/MAAPS shall not be liable for any damages or loss that result from the display of items. If you have something you would like to place in the museum, we would be proud to display it.

We invite you to visit! For travelers, the museum is within 500' of the Malden RV Park which has 22 sites with full hookups. The Malden Airport Inn can be reached at 573-276-5144 for reservations and availability. If you would like additional information about MAAPS, the museum or the Veteran's Wall of Honor, please contact us online or by telephone at 573-276-2279.

COME SEE US!

A long range project for MAAPS and the AA-MAB Patriots is working on a new building to house the Malden Military Museum. From "Grand Opening" in 2002 where the MAAPS group had started with three small bags of memorabilia to the "busting at the seams" of today's museum, the need for a new larger facility is apparent. In the meantime, MAAPS has a dire need for display cases to properly preserve the memorabilia so graciously loaned for display. Ideas for display cases and donations to the Military Museum would both be sincerely appreciated.
